KEEPSAKES FLORIST is a full service, one-stop shop for all your floral needs.
We provide flowers, gifts and fresh plants for curbside pick up, delivery and/or special events. Our specialty is weddings and celebrations.
Karen started her career in floral design by creating dried and silk flower arrangements. Her passion for floral design led her in the right direction and she soon opened up Keepsakes Florist in 1991. She is now celebrating 30 years of serving the community through designing every-day floral arrangements, special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, congratulatory florals, weddings, funerals, and much more.
Karen has worked for years mastering the art of ‘creating the perfect arrangements’ for various establishments and clients who became regular and familiar faces. Her knack for ‘listening’ and offering ‘exactly what the customer was looking for’ has taken her on this successful journey to the present day of owning one of the most successful floral shops in the Lowcountry.
After creating floral designs for thousands of weddings, her renowned knowledge and dedication to ‘pleasing her clients’ is legendary by locals and destination brides alike. Just view some of Karen’s reviews and see why she has mastered the art of ‘customer service with a smile’.
Karen chalks her success up to her ongoing love for creating uniqueness in each and every event, as well as her ability to exceed her client’s expectations time and time again.
Karen is an award winning certified master floral designer and a member of the SAF and FTD. Brides have voted her The Best of the Knot Winner, Brides Choice and Couple’s Choice for 12 years in a row. Her company has been featured in the Post & Courier’s Who’s Who in Business and the Regional Business Journal’s Businesses to Look Up To. She is a hands-on business owner who loves being involved with the inception, creation and the end result of Keepsakes Designs. When Karen is not creating happy memories for others, she adores spending her spare time with her wonderful husband Mike, their 3 fabulous children and 4 beautiful grandchildren.
Wedding Consultations
We are currently booking face to face appointments again in our design center. Our in-house wedding planner/designer will be happy to sit with you and discuss your wedding/event at a pre-scheduled time. Just some of the things we go over are:

Once identified and ready to start the process, we will secure your date and then help walk you through fabric samples, furniture rentals (through our in-house and rental partners) and our in-house glass. wood, metal containers and props. This is a one-stop process for designing your wedding. It is recommended that you hire at least an ‘On the Day Director’ for implementing your vision, so you can be free to enjoy your day. We will be happy to discuss options with you during our consultation.
