Employment Opportunities

From time to time, Keepsakes Florist has openings for various Team Player Positions.   These positions are usually for, but not limited to:

• Experienced Floral Designers
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in floral design for: Basic Designer Choice Arrangements, Funerals, Weddings
    
    
• Floral Interns/Trainees
  
  • Must be willing to train on overall shop help, including but not limited to:  computer orders, sales help, floral processing, prepping for designers, changing out flowers in coolers, plant maintenance, cleaning & tidying shop, acting as back-up/runner to help designers and ensure supplies are topped up
    
    
• Shop Assistant
  • Shop assistants will help in all aspects of working a floral shop, including but not limited to customer service, taking orders both in person and on telephone/computer, ensuring the shop is clean and tidy, taking inventory, receiving and unpacking deliveries, pricing and putting out on floor (with direction), 

• Setup/Breakdown Crew 
  • Must be willing to train in shop for 2 weeks and understand mechanics of pulling inventory, processing and readying supplies
  • Learn how to read proposal and order forms and do check lists accordingly
  • Learn how we pack vans and deliver events & step by step placement
  • Learn how strike works and using check lists at the conclusion of events

• Delivery Drivers

We have open positions open for part time delivery drivers for week days and Saturdays. 
During our busy season, we usually ask that extra hours of work be considered.   Those busy seasons are:  Holiday, Valentine’s Day & Mother’s Day. 

• All applicants require a neat and clean appearance 
• need to be personable and customer service oriented 
• have be able to use a cell phone for confirmation of deliveries as they’re being made 
• MUST HAVE  a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
